If your car is NOT drivable, and you are at the scene of the accident it is best to instruct the tow truck driver to tow your car DIRECTLY to nearest car dealer(assuming the dealer has a body shop) or a body shop of your choice. If you fail to tell tow truck driver WHERE to take your car they will tow it back to their lot, which means you have calendar day storage fees and will have to have car towed again from their lot to a body shop. So for convenience sake be sure and specify where your car is to be taken.
